Der Künstler studierte an der Kunstschule in Weimar, bereiste Holland, Italien und Frankreich und lebte und arbeitete in Breganzona bei Lugano (Schweiz), Villa Sylva.

Agno ist eine Gemeinde und Hauptort des Circolo di Agno des Distretto di Lugano im Kanton Tessin in der Schweiz. Das am Luganersee gelegene Dorf ist die wichtigste Ortschaft im Malcantone und umfasst auch die Ortsteile Cassina, Mondonico und Serocca.

Fine academical well-versed composition with expressive verve. In beautiful original condition.
The artist studied at the art school in Weimar, travelled in Netherlands, Italy and France. He lived and worked in Breganzona near Lugano (Switzerland), Villa Sylva.

Agno is a municipality in the district of Lugano in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. Because of its strategic location at the northern end of an arm of Lake Lugano and along the Varese-Ponte Tresa-Monte Ceneri road, Agno was possibly the center of a Roman Pagus. Some of the archeological finds from Roman Agno are in the local Museo plebano.
